Gasoline Alley's Ninth Annual Birthday Bash, North Las Vegas, NV, May 24th-25th, 2008:
Event kickoff party will be held on Saturday, May 24th, from 4:00pm to 10:00pm at The Cannery Casino and Hotel and includes live bands, dedicated parking, vendors, and drawings.
Sunday, May 25th, from 8:00am to 5:00pm, we're on the grass at Eldorado Park. As always, this event is open to all vehicles, motorcycles, trucks, low riders, racecars, etc.
Register by May 10th for only $30.00, $35.00 thereafter or on site. ALL registered vehicles quality for a very special drawing Sunday afternoon, must be present to win. Registration includes great goodie bag, event T-shirt, drink koozie, and dash plaque. There will be numerous trophies awarded on Sunday at Eldorado Park, including Best of Show, Top Twenty, Participants Pick, Kid's Pick, and People's Choice.
HUGE amount of items for our Second Annual Live Auction as well as drawings throughout the day at Eldorado Park, including Mario Andretti Racing School, dinners and shows on the Strip, NHRA memorabilia, and many, many, more.
All proceeds to benefit The Lili Claire Foundation, which assists children with neurogenetic defects, including Autism, Down Syndrome, and Williams Syndrome. Sin City MINI Club's weekend drive to Prescott, AZ |
We will drive to
Prescott on Friday, June 6, and return Sunday, June 8th.
We have reserved a block of rooms at the
Best Western Prescottian in downtown Prescott for Friday and Saturday nights. The rate is $95 + tax for two people, with each additional person $10 extra. This rate includes a hot breakfast buffet each day. If you would like to go, please call the hotel directly at (928) 445-3096 and ask for the Sin City MINI Club group rate (group #100947). Reservations need to be made by May 15.
Planned activities will include a drive on Saturday to
Jerome on
Highway 89A, possibly continuing on to
Sedona. We will return to Prescott for dinner and drinks on Whiskey Row. On Sunday, we will check out the
35th Annual Folk Arts Fair, along with the the
Territorial Days Arts and Crafts Show before heading back through
Bagdad, Arizona and the infamous "Twelve Miles of Terror".
